Your first order and your forecast

Start with what you need first: the quantity, where it’s going and when. Then give us a rough idea of how often you’ll reorder and your yearly total. That lets us plan future batches without treating a forecast as a firm order.

If demand spikes around certain events or seasons, tell us when. Mention whether deliveries go to one place or several. Capacity, timing and the arrangement itself need to be agreed before either of us commits to regular orders.

Agree what stays the same

A repeatable order needs more than a product name. Write down the approved design version, dimensions, wording, colour, finish and packaging. For a working part, include the fit or performance it has to meet.

Talk to us about whether an approval sample makes sense, what it costs and what you’ll check it for. Any quality checks need to be agreed for your actual product.

When something changes

A new name, updated logo, different material or new size can change the job. Send a clear list of changes before asking for the next batch, rather than assuming the last quote still applies.

Keep the approved version and the changes together so everyone can see what’s different. Ask us to confirm any effect on price and delivery before going ahead.

Purchasing and paperwork

If your organisation uses purchase orders, supplier onboarding or confidentiality agreements, mention it when you first enquire so we can look at it alongside the brief.
